Parvati Shallow is the Sole Survivor of Survivor: Micronesia.

On her return, Parvati weaponized her feminine charm and social skills by initially formed the Malakal Couples Alliance, but she later assembled a formidable band of women known as the Black Widow Brigade, which was successful in annihilating the men after the merge. She was taken by ally Amanda Kimmel to the Final Tribal Council and won the title of Sole Survivor in a close 5-3 jury vote.

Parvati Shallow grew up the eldest of three siblings on a commune in Vero Beach, Florida. She and her family moved to Atlanta when she was 11 years old. Shallow put herself through college, attending the University of Georgia where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with minors in French and Italian. While in college, she was an active member of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority and is a huge Bulldog fan!

A nature lover at heart, Shallow has spent extensive amounts of time camping and hiking through North America's state parks including the Tetons and Yellowstone. While in college, she organized a two-month backpacking trip through Europe where she and two friends visited 13 countries, sleeping in youth hostels, train stations, on beaches and park benches. Shallow's favorites include good sushi, wearing oversized jerseys, karaoke and cheering on "The Dawgs." She is also training for triathlons with her mom, Gale.

Shallow has found her niche with the Los Angeles boxing community and began competing in 2004. She and some fellow boxers have parlayed her passion for the sport into the creation of a non-profit organization titled "Knockouts for Girls," a charity that provides scholarships and boxing lessons for underprivileged girls. The organization recently held their first fundraising event that included boxing matches and a fashion show. Having been a huge success, she will be boxing at a second fundraiser in February, 2008.

Shallow currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Her birth date is September 21, 1982.^[1]

As one of the returning Favorites, Parvati was assigned to the Malakal tribe, in which she was reunited with Cook Islands castmates Jonathan Penner and Ozzy Lusth. She formed a "couples alliance" with Ozzy and former China cast members Amanda Kimmel and James Clement. After their tribe lost the first Immunity Challenge, they tried to swing Jon Dalton over to their side to gain a majority over the alliance of Yau-Man Chan, Ami Cusack, Eliza Orlins, and Jonathan Penner. However, Jon was voted out instead because he wanted to be with his expectant girlfriend. Following Jon's elimination, Parvati and Jonathan, who were already enemies from their previous season, rekindled their rivalry amd competed for the support of the other swing vote: Cirie Fields. Malakal won the second Immunity Challenge, keeping Parvati safe for the round.

Parvati recruited Cirie by making a Final Three deal with her and Amanda. Knowing fully well of Parvati's capabilities, Parvati's former rival Jonathan attempted to sway Cirie to come to his side. Parvati ultimately received Cirie's support after allowing her to call the shots on who to vote out next. On Night 8, Parvati's couples alliance and Cirie eliminated Yau-Man Chan. Despite the tension within Malakal, the tribe won both challenges on the next round.

On Day 12, the Fans and Favorites were mixed through a Tribe Switch, with Parvati being sent to the new Airai tribe with James, Jonathan, and Eliza Orlins. With two members of her rival Favorites alliance, Parvati secured a alliance with Fans Alexis Jones and Natalie Bolton, which became the prologue to the Black Widow Brigade, an all-women alliance in which Parvati would include Amanda and Cirie. Parvati and the rest of the new Airai remained safe until the merge by winning the remaining Immunity Challenge; however, not without their own casualties, such as Jonathan was evacuated due to an infected knee and Kathy Sleckman quit due to depression and boredom.

The tribes merged on Day 22, forming the new Dabu tribe. Parvati found herself well insulated by both the couples alliance and the Black Widow Brigade. After eliminating Eliza, a common outsider of both alliances, Parvati fully committed to the women's alliance. She won the next Immunity Challenge after convincing the other unaligned player, Jason Siska, to step down at the next Immunity Challenge, under the condition the tribe will not vote for him. However, the couples alliance, along with affiliate Erik Reichenbach, decided to renege on their promise. She participated in Cirie's plan to use the promise as an opportunity to blindside Ozzy, who also had the Hidden Immunity Idol.

In the aftermath of the Ozzy blindside, Parvati attempted to make amends with James to no avail, with James even asking to be voted out. To some extent, Amanda was also furious at being forced into the Women's Alliance without her knowledge. The alliance held and eliminated Jason, who had found another Hidden Immunity Idol. James was subsequently evacuated due to an infected finger. At this point, the Black Widows only had Erik as their last target.

Erik won the Day 33 Immunity Challenge, forcing the Black Widows to turn on each other. The common intended target was Amanda, citing her strategic acumen and strength in challenges. Parvati, not wanting to lose her, helped Amanda find the Hidden Immunity Idol by luring the rest of the tribe away from the idol's hiding place so Amanda can dig freely. Parvati and Amanda debated the merits of voting out Alexis or Natalie, with the duo eventually deciding to vote for Parvati's initial target preference, Alexis on the basis that she was a bigger jury threat.

Parvati recognized the importance of keeping the idol out of Natalie's hands if Erik won the Reward Challenge and convinced Amanda to get Erik to send Parvati to exile. The plan went into fruition, and Parvati was sent to Exile Island, where she found the idol off-screen but elected not to keep it to not cause undue trouble.^[2]

After Erik won yet another Immunity Challenge, Cirie did not want to the women to turn against themselves again, so she concocted an elaborate plot to trick Erik into giving up his immunity. Parvati was approached by Erik to possibly have a Final Three deal with Cirie, which was overheard by Natalie. Erik was convinced by the women that he had damaged his chances of winning and that the only way he could win back was if he gave up his immunity to Natalie, after which the three of them would vote for Parvati. At Tribal Council, Parvati doubled down the manipulation on Erik along with Amanda and Natalie. Ridden with guilt, Erik did surrender his immunity to Natalie, after which he was promptly voted out; therefore, Parvati and the Black Widow Brigade's mission to eliminate the men had been accomplished. Parvati, Amanda, and Cirie held on to their deal and eliminated Natalie, the last "Fan" standing, despite a brief argument between Amanda and Cirie.

In a surprise turn of events, the Final Three were informed they will be competing in another Immunity Challenge, which Amanda won. At Tribal Council, a visibly emotional Amanda remained torn by the prospect of betraying either Parvati or Cirie, neither of whom Amanda felt should have been voted out on Day 38. Parvati stated that she did not wish to be in Amanda's situation because she believed none of the final three deserved to miss a place at the Final Tribal Council. She was ultimately picked by Amanda to join her in the Final Two, voting out Cirie as Amanda felt Cirie was the biggest jury threat.

At the Final Tribal Council, Parvati argued she had to play more aggressive compared to her previous season. While Alexis and Natalie admired Parvati, she was equally blasted by James and Ozzy for turning on their alliance. Ultimately, it was Parvati's cutthroat gameplay won the jury over, and was awarded the title of Sole Survivor with five votes to Amanda's three, earning the votes of Eliza, Jason, Alexis, Natalie, and Cirie.
